Estates and Executries

Supporting you through the estate administration process.

Clear Guidance Through a Difficult Time

Dealing with the estate of someone who has passed away can be deeply emotional and challenging. In Scotland, the process of winding up a deceased person’s affairs is known as an executry. This involves gathering details of their assets, obtaining Confirmation of the estate, paying any debts, and distributing what remains to the rightful beneficiaries.
Whether the person left a will or died without one (intestate), the legal requirements can be complex. Our role is to guide you through each step, ensuring the process is handled efficiently, lawfully, and with the utmost care.
Sinèad worked with me over four months dealing with the Estate of my late Mum.. and then the sale of the house. Made more difficult for me as I live nearly 500 miles away. All completed now within four months, including Probate etc.
